If you are in town, be sure to attend Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade. It has been going on since 1924, almost 100 years ago! It screams New York! You can’t miss the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and ice rink if you visit during Christmas. New Year’s Eve in Times Square is another must-see. You should also take in the amazing views in this city of skyscrapers. Brooklyn Heights Promenade offers some of Manhattan’s most spectacular views.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is a great winter destination for adventure-lovers. It is often referred to as the hardest ski resort in America (Jackson Hole Mountain Resort). It is well-known for its extreme snowboarding and skiing runs. You will find steep slopes and rugged terrain along with dangerous drop-offs. There are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy on and off the slopes. Ski school at Jackson Hole is a top-notch facility that caters to every individual’s unique skill level.
Jackson Hole offers many other entertainment options, besides the slopes. For stunning, panoramic views of Teton Mountain Range and the Continental Divide, go snowmobiling. You can also ride a horse-drawn carriage through the National Elk Refuge. Wild elk roam free in the refuge’s valley and pastures.

Every year, winter excites me because I love to visit snowy, fun winter destinations. Vail, Colorado is one of my favorite places to visit during wintertime. Vail, Colorado is a popular destination for winter travel. It offers the ideal snow-lovers experience.
Skiing is Vail’s most popular past-time winter activity. There are plenty of ski slopes, from the bunnies and black diamond runs. There are many other things you can do in Vail, even if you’re not a skier. These activities are highly recommended and include dog-sledding with learning to mush and snowmobiling to 12,500 feet to capture stunning views of the Continental Divide and four mountain ranges.
For the ultimate winter experience, you can also stay in a ski resort that is ski-in and ski-out. Enjoy s’mores by the firepit, making snowmen, or dinner at Zach’s Cabin, where you’ll arrive and depart via open-air sleigh rides. This will make your winter vacation unforgettable!
