The 12 Essential Travel Accessories For Women

Sharing is caring!

I have a confession to make about travel accessories for women: I love travel accessories. I love bags, cases, and organizers in particular. I’m not sure why this is the case; maybe it’s because they’re so crucial to our traveling experiences and come in so many different shapes and sizes? Or perhaps it’s because they’re often cute?

Either way, my collection of travel doodads is growing every day. In fact, I think it might be time for another post on “The Best Travel Accessories For Women”! So here are 12 of my favorites–with some recommendations for men as well!

1. Travel Purse or Laptop Bag

A travel purse or laptop bag is an essential accessory for a woman. This is the bag you will use on the plane to hold your things, and it should be large enough to fit your laptop, wallet, phone, and any other items you need.

The material of this product must be durable so that it lasts longer than just one trip. It also needs to be easy to clean and prevent dirt from sticking to its surface as much as possible.

Also, when choosing a bag, you must consider how easy it will be to find it in crowded places like airports or train stations during rush hour traffic times because these situations can get quite hectic at times which makes locating items difficult if they are buried inside another bag with similar colors.

2. Packing Cubes

A packing cube is a container that houses your clothes, keeping them organized and wrinkle-free. This will make your clothes easier to find when packing and unpacking. They also separate dirty laundry from clean laundry (and vice versa), so there’s less chance of getting your whole suitcase dirty during the trip. If you have more than one bag, put all your pajamas in one cube, your dress shirts in another, and so on.

If you like to be organized before flying, consider using packing cubes, even if they don’t help with space savings or organization! Packing cubes are perfect for toiletries because they prevent spills or leaks from ruining other items inside your bag. If a bottle rolls around loose into another baggy item, it might break open — but by putting it into its own little box within another more oversized baggy item (like a suitcase), this won’t happen!

3. Scarf

Your scarf is one of the most essential pieces of clothing you can bring on your trip. It’s versatile and can be used in many different ways. You can use it to cover up your head, neck, or shoulders as needed—or even as an accessory that doubles as a belt!

4. Travel Jewelry Organizer

A travel jewelry organizer is one of the excellent travel accessories for women. It helps your jewelry stay untangled and organized and is small enough to fit in your bag.

Another way that a travel jewelry organizer can help you stay organized is by keeping other small items like hair ties, bobby pins, or makeup brushes nice and neat.

If you’re traveling with multiple bags (like an overnight bag or carry-on), this is an excellent way to ensure that everything has its place so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. Finally, if you tend to forget things like where your keys are when you need them most (and who doesn’t?), having a place for them right next to your clothes will make sure they don’t fall through the cracks!

5. Portable Charger

A portable charger is a must for any traveler who is on the go. Not only does it help you keep your cell phone charged when you need to call someone, and it allows you to use GPS, take pictures, and listen to music.

Let’s talk about how often this device can charge your phone: the best ones will be able to do two or three total charges before needing to be recharged. It should also have several USB ports so everyone in your party can charge up at once if they need to!

You’ll want a device that takes around four hours or less (the shorter, the better) before fully charging an iPhone 6S Plus battery from 0% – 100%. This means that once we’ve bought our phones and other accessories like cameras/MP3 players etc., we may not have time left after everything else has been packed up!

6. Pants That Are Also Leggings

Leggings are so versatile and comfortable that they’re a must-have for any traveling woman. They can be worn as pants or a dress (just add a tunic or shirt), and you can even use them as pajamas if you don’t have anything else to wear at night.

Leggings are lightweight, easy to pack, and take up little space in your suitcase—so if you want to look good while traveling on the cheap, this is the way to do it!

There are lots of different styles of leggings out there: some have pockets; others feature slits at the bottom; some even have ruffles around the ankles. No matter what kind of legging you choose, it will serve as both an accessory item and everyday clothing during your trip; therefore, make sure that every pair fits well before buying!

7. Women’s Toiletry Bag

A toiletry bag is one of the vital travel accessories for women on the go. It’s an excellent place to keep your makeup, toothbrush, and other essentials, so you don’t have to carry bulky items in your carry-on bag or purse. It can also help you stay organized from day one! Try this cute pink one from Vera Bradley that has plenty of room for all your travel essentials.

If you need something more spacious (or if this style isn’t quite right), check out these on Amazon store.

8. Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is a lifesaver for long-haired women who don’t have time to wash their hair daily. It’s also great for people with curly hair, as it can help your curls keep their shape and add volume, so you won’t need to spend time styling them.

The best dry shampoos have both a powder formula and a liquid one, which allows you to choose between using the powder on dirty hair or applying the liquid over dry (or styled) locks instead. Look for ingredients like corn starch or rice bran extract in your dry shampoo; these will absorb oil without making your scalp feel oily or heavy!

9. Compression Socks With Zipper

Compression socks with a zipper are a must-have for women who spend a lot of time on their feet, whether traveling or working. They can help minimize swelling and prevent blood clots contributing to deep vein thrombosis (DVT), the third most common travel-related medical problem. That’s why it’s essential to wear these socks after long flights or periods of prolonged sitting and during exercise.

10. A Small Fun Notebook and Pen

A small fun notebook and pen is an essential travel accessories for women. You can use it as a journal, diary, travel log, or even a traveler’s notebook. Keeping track of the things you’ve done and places you’ve visited will be helpful so you can look back on all the memories with fondness and have them right at your fingertips.

If you go through your notes every now and then, they will come in handy when someone asks what are some of your favorite cities in Europe? Or what was that restaurant like where I had dinner last week?

11. The Most Comfortable Socks Ever Made

They’re made of a unique material that helps to keep your feet cool and dry. They come in various sizes, so you can get the right fit for your feet.

There are many travel socks on the market, but few are as comfortable or versatile as these!

12. Memory Foam Pillow With Cover

A good pillow is essential travel item for restful sleep, whether traveling or home. Check the manufacturer’s return policy before buying and ensure it’s comfortable, soft, and supportive. Also, make sure that it’s easy to clean (you don’t want to be sleeping on dirty bedding), easy to transport (you don’t want your pillow taking up space in your luggage), durable (so you can use it again, and again), and has a good cover that won’t get ruined in the wash.

Pro Tip:

The best advice I can give is to take a moment and be honest with yourself when it comes to packing. Do you really need that fourth pair of jeans? Or could you get away with just three? Do you need six shirts? You may be surprised at how much more comfortable your trip will be if you leave some room for souvenirs or gifts for friends back home.

Another thing: don’t forget about taking care of yourself while traveling! If there’s one thing that can make or break a trip, it’s good to sleep (and not just because we all look gorgeous when we’re rested). A good pillow can make all the difference in helping me get adequate rest while traveling, so I’ve included my favorite down-alternative pads here.

Conclusion

The best part about these gifts is that they’re not just for the ladies. Guys can get in on the action, too! It’s all about finding what works best for you and your needs as a traveler. And when it comes down to it: no matter what type of traveler you are or what gender you identify with—if someone has ever told you that traveling isn’t their thing, then they need one of these accessories in their life ASAP!
